We welcome you back to Texas Sutler. Our site has been offline longer than we anticipated in hopes of bringing better information to you. As these changes are taking a tad longer than we thought, it was best we get the site back up and running. Over the next few months, we do plan on adding to the site to make shopping with Texas Sutler a better experience.

Better Communication
One of the first changes we’re implementing a way to better communicate with world. This includes this new blog we’ve implemented. In the future, we plan on using this blog to bring you news about our site (including the introduction of new features), upcoming events, and possibly just to talk about what’s on our mind (at long as it pertains to sutlery, of course).

We also want to start keeping in touch with others interested in sutlery or reenacting by using Twitter. Twitter also provides us a great way to interact with others in a faster fashion. Also, in the event Texas Sutler is having any issues, it’s one way to keep up to date on what’s going on.

Better Information
We’re also working to add more information about our products. Right now, we are able to provide the Part Number and Weight of the products with additional information being in the description. We’re now moving those additional details over to a dedicated section.

Better Pictures
One of the biggest changes we’re bringing (and the most time-consuming, I might add) is the introduction of bigger, cleaner, unobstructed images.  All product images will be updated little bit by little bit. This also includes getting pictures for many of our products that are missing them!

Better Listings
Now when browsing our products, all products in that category (including products in its subcategories) are listed! This allows for a more Filtering method of viewing products instead of all products being stuck in a lone category. Unfortunately, we have had to disable Product Sorting for the time being to get this to work. We’re working on bring this feature back.

Better Events
Alright, not exactly better, but they exist now! Texas Sutler does not have a physical store location, but we do make it out to to events during different times of the year. To see what events we’ll be attending, just look at the Events box on the right of the site and head over to our Events page. Check back often!

Better Deals
Sometimes some items need to go and this will be your best chance to get a great deal. Our new Closeout section will display products that are no longer available or products that we will no longer carry. All you need to know is the prices on these items may be the best you will see!

These are just some of the changes we’ve been trying to get implement into Texas Sutler. There are also changes on our backend and in our code that have been updated, but you probably don’t really care for all that geekery.
