A traditional style of knives from France, the Opinel Knife has a handle made from Beechwood with an orange tinted varinish and a carbon steel blade tempered to hold a good edge. Although these knives have no back spring, the blade does lock in place by way of a split ring at the ferrule. The Large knife measures 4 1/4 inches, the medium at 4 inches, and the small is 3 3/4 inches (all when closed).
